Template Widgets Print

  • 0

One of the best features of BaseKit is the Template Widgets section, which allows you to modify your template and style and duplicate this on additional pages, such as a header or footer, or other design options. Normally, when you edit a template, the template will change with each page to the default template theme. Using this widget helps you customize your site easier, and more efficiently.

To create a template widget:

  1. Log in to your BaseKit account and click the Widgets tab to expand your options.
  2. Select the Template Widgets tab and select "Add new template widget"
  3. Create as name for your customized template (such as Header) and click "Create Template widget"

You will now see an addition to the Template widget section with your new template. You are now able to drag and drop the widget onto the page in the desired location. Utilize the Lock icon to prevent the content from being changed. You can now add this template to other pages on your site.
