Google is the most popular search engine on the internet today. Having your site show up in a Google search ranking almost guarantees your site will get traffic, but in order to do so, you must do this manually with Google.
Google, along with other popular search engines will not list your site in their rankings until you submit your site for indexing. Google and other engines use spiders to index webpages and collect, parse, and store data to facilitate fast and accurate information retrieval.
Note: Please keep in mind that HostLayer does not control whether or not Google will index your site, nor can HostLayer Provide assistance with Google's indexing methods.
Getting Google to Crawl Your Site
Google adds new sites to their index and updates existing ones everytime that they crawl the web. If you have a new URL, tell Google about it here. Google doesn't add all submitted URLs to their index and can't make predictions or guarantees about when or if submitted URLs will appear in their index.
To submit your site to Google, simply go to the following link for Google's WebMaster Tools and enter your link in the corresponding box.
